Is It Possible To Save A Marriage After Infidelity?

A cheating spouse, more often than not is a cheating spouse because they were caught in a situation that they found themselves unable to control or because they had one or two too many drinks and once again found themselves unable to control any other muscle in their bodies aside from the muscles located you know where.

Such a spouse is a cheating spouse, but they may have cheated involuntarily and in actual fact they may be just as stressed about the whole situation as you are. Such a spouse is likely to be more wary of the dangers of being caught in the same or similar situations again in the future and therefore, they are the kind of spouse that you may want to keep around for a little bit longer.

A spouse that has cheated voluntarily, ie: they planned the whole affair down to the very last detail, hotels and dinners and all is not the kind of spouse that needs to be kept around and should be flayed alive, in my honest opinion. If you are unsure of what it means to be flayed alive, it means to remove a persons skin in one piece and it is a punishment that was extremely popular in England during the 15th and 16th centuries.

Anyway, as attractive as the punishment of flaying your spouse alive is, that is not the reason why you are here reading this article. The reason you are here is because you are leaning more towards the help save a marriage side of the coin and you are in need of advice on how such a task is to be undertaken. Am I right?

The truth is that it IS possible to save a marriage and many that do it will tell you that their new marriage is better than the old one.
