There are two common signs that a cheater will almost always display, all you have to do is learn what to look for. These two signs are unavailability and inconsistency.

Unavailability

This is the first and the most prevalent of the two signs. If you are being cheated on, then the cheater will often be unavailable. If they are unavailable at times when they used to always be available and offer sketchy or no explanation, this is a huge sign you are being cheated on. Also if he stops wanting to be intimate and starts rejecting sex and your advances you can be sure that something is up.

Another major way that he will be unavailable to you is in his personal matters or life. If he is cheating then he will most likely stop sharing personal matters with you and details about his life. This is especially prevalent when you don't live near or with your boyfriend. He won't tell you whats been going on in his life, and he will usually have some "new friends". When you come to visit him though he won't introduce you because he "wants to spend one on one time with you." You will want to believe him, but sadly this is usually a sign of a cheating boyfriend.

Inconsistency

This sign is not always as easy to detect and it isn't as prevalent as unavailability, but it is still very typical of a cheater and should not be over-looked. He will be inconsistent in two main areas and you have to look for it in both of them. The first and most common area he will be inconsistent in is his communication with you. He will be slower to message you back when texting or instant messaging and he will not do it as often. The second place you can look for it in his likes and dislikes, especially when it comes to food. If he starts to like places and things that he never did before or starts to be interested in multiple things he never mentioned before it could be a sign of cheating.
